Course Introduction:
This course provides third-year BA students with a foundational understanding of effective classroom management strategies and systematic lesson planning. It is designed to bridge theoretical knowledge and practical classroom skills essential for creating a productive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment.
By the end of the course, students will be able to demonstrate competence in designing coherent lesson plans and applying management techniques that promote positive learning outcomes in EFL classrooms. The course combines theoretical lectures, case study analyses, peer teaching, and microteaching sessions to ensure both knowledge acquisition and practical skill development.

In the second term, students will investigate language issues in ESP, by shedding light on the ESP practitioner role, ESP learners and teaching objectives in ESP. Further issues of grammar, vocabulary and content will be explored. In the third chapter, students will be introduced to the process of needs analysis and its different approaches. By the end of the chapter, students will gain the necessary skills in order to conduct a needs analysis with a specific group of learners. Therefore, they will be able to incorporate their learning outcomes to design and present a lesson plan
