This course introduces the basic concepts of algebra and set theory. It is also to use the results obtained for the study of linear structures in the subjects of Algebra 2 and of Mathematical analysis 2.

Course Description:
Introduction to Operating System 1" course is designed to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of the Unix operating system. Through a combination of theoretical lectures, practical exercises, and hands-on labs, students will gain the necessary knowledge and skills to navigate, manage, and utilize Unix systems effectively.
Target audience:
First year computer engineer
Course Objectives:
- Introduce students to the practice of the Unix system
- Use the GUI
- Control Linux using the command line
- Know the basics of shell scripting
- Know basic Linux security
- At the end of the course the student must be able to work in a Unix environment (at user level) and install a Unix system (Lunix)
