This course introduces the basic concepts of algebra and set theory. It is also to use the results obtained for the study of linear structures in the subjects of Algebra 2 and of Mathematical analysis 2.

Course Description:

Introduction to Operating System 1" course is designed to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of the Unix operating system. Through a combination of theoretical lectures, practical exercises, and hands-on labs, students will gain the necessary knowledge and skills to navigate, manage, and utilize Unix systems effectively.

First year computer engineer

Course Objectives:

  • Introduce students to the practice of the Unix system
  1. Use the GUI
  2. Control Linux using the command line
  3. Know the basics of shell scripting
  4. Know basic Linux security
  • At the end of the course the student must be able to work in a Unix environment (at user level) and install a Unix system (Lunix)
