This course on grammatical analysis, designed for students beginning to study the discipline. It covers both syntax (the structure of phrases and sentences) and morphology (the structure of words), and equips them with the tools and methods needed to analyze grammatical patterns in English language.The competency targeted by this course, as a whole, is “to enable students to recognize and understand the meaning of the targeted grammatical structures in written and spoken form, and to use them meaningfully and appropriately in oral and written production.”

This course is an introduction to the discipline of  linguistics. It offers a broad overview about language, the scientific study of language, linguistic dichotomies, language classifications, and a short account of the history of linguistics.

This lecture entitled « Writing Effective Paragraphs » is intended for first-year EFL students. It is part of the second axis of the ‘’RST’’ module. The objective of the lesson "Writing Effective Paragraphs" is to equip students with the essential skills to construct coherent, organized, and impactful paragraphs. Learning the structure of paragraphs and their different types is essential for effective communication and comprehension in both writing and reading. By the end of the lesson, students should be proficient in structuring well-developed paragraphs that contribute meaningfully to the overall cohesion and strength of their written work.
